Dr. Uday Narang

Dr. Uday Narang is a visionary entrepreneur, clean mobility pioneer, and global business leader who serves as the Founder and Chairman of Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM), one of India’s fastest-growing electric commercial vehicle manufacturers. Recognized for his bold vision of transforming sustainable transportation, he has been instrumental in positioning Omega Seiki Mobility as a leading innovator in electric cargo vehicles, last-mile logistics solutions, and next-generation mobility technologies across India and international markets.

An MBA in Finance from Stony Brook University, New York, Dr. Narang began his professional career in the United States, where he established himself as an accomplished commodity and energy trader. Over two decades, he held senior leadership positions in global oil, gas, electricity, and power trading organizations across the United States and Europe, earning recognition for his expertise in energy markets, investment strategy, and business transformation. This international experience provided the strategic foundation for his later transition into advanced manufacturing and electric mobility.

In 2018, Dr. Narang founded Omega Seiki Mobility with the ambition of building a globally competitive electric vehicle company focused on clean, affordable, and intelligent commercial transportation. Under his leadership, the company has introduced several industry-first innovations, including India’s first electric refrigerated three-wheeler, advanced electric cargo vehicles, and hydrogen-powered mobility initiatives. OSM has rapidly expanded its manufacturing footprint, product portfolio, and international presence, with operations and strategic partnerships extending across South Asia and other emerging markets.

Dr. Narang’s leadership philosophy is centered on innovation, localization, and sustainability. He has consistently advocated for indigenous manufacturing, advanced battery technologies, hydrogen mobility, and integrated clean-energy ecosystems that support India’s transition toward carbon-neutral transportation.
